Early kick off in Lancs to avoid a clash with the Rugby League team's appearance at Wembley later in the afternoon.  As a result, a muted atmosphere, improved only by a couple of Wigan goals - it would be 7 months before the next home win!  Slow driving to the ground's car parks, but much quicker exiting.
