Game watched: Leeds United 2-1 Nottingham Forest
It's fair to say that Elland Road needs some work doing to it to bring it uptodate. Other than the addition of Kens Hotel and a big screen the ground appears as if it hasn't had so much as a lick of paint since the 70's. It's miles away from the city centre which I always find annoying, as is the obscured view behind the supporting pillars. A lot of Leeds fans hate the 'dirty' tag but they don't help themselves. Every foul is cheered like a goal which is just bizzare. Ticket prices are astrinomical and you know that Ken Bates is pocketing it. The atmosphere was ok but I had far higher hopes and the same can be said about the ground overall
