Thanks to the ticketing strategy in the FA Cup it was possible to make a trip to Hillsborough affordable, the league pricing is quite shameful.  That aside Hillsborough is one of the old school stadiums that is full of character both in and outside the stadium.  We sat in the Grandstand which gave excellent views, but the leg rooms was just about manageable.  There were plenty of faciltiies in the concourse which meant at Half Time we got severed very quickly.  The atmosphere was lacking from the home fans for long periods of time but I could imagine when there is 30,000+ in the ground it will be very special and loud.
