Conveniently located close to the city and about 15 minutes walk from the station. The design of the Hazell Stand with a fully enclosed roof resulted in a good atmosphere despite a small crowd. The design also gave a spacious if somewhat spartan concourse area. Unfortunately the low roof and supporting pillars result in a somewhat impeded view of the play. The worst feature was tthat the seats are set so low to the floor that a natural comfortable position would have been difficult to find if the seats adfjacent had been occupied. The big plus was undoubtedly the people, both staff and fans, whose friendliness made it a most enjoyable afternoon
