A lot of character and always a very lively atmosphere but the ground really shows its age and the toilets remain a relic similar to what was found 50 years ago. Fratton station is convenient walking distance but this is an option not open to me when watching Saints. Two visits since starting the 92 only one of which involved Southampton so there has been an opprtunity to experience a normal visit. One earlier visit prior to the 92 in 1967
