Had a fantastic day out at Forest Green Rovers with my mate Colin and the man in the middle mr D. Webb. We came down on Friday night and stayed around an hours drive away from the ground. Forest Green may be a small club but they have a very good set up going on. The pitch looked first class so hats off to the grounds people who have done a cracking job. Like I say the club may be a little on the small side, but the ground was very well presented & all the staff we came across were top of the bill. The game was played out with a swirling wind and a nice bit of sunshine in the second half. Forest Green picked up their first 3 league points with a 4-3 win,this after going down 0-2 & 1-3 so a big well done for not throwing the towel in. A big thank you Mr D. Webb,Mr C.(almost 92)Harrison & everyone who helped make it a cracking day out. The only blemish on the trip was the diversion on the A1 which put an hour on our trip home.
