My first visit to Stamford Bridge was way back in the early '90s.  Back in the day when there were cars parked around the pitch and the stands were miles from the pitch.  Given the proximity to the pitch the view wasn't great and the atmosphere was pretty poor as the stand was open air holding in little noise.  Facilities were shocking too. It only cost £7 to get it (for adults and kids) so value for money was pretty good.
