Game watched: Everton 3-0 Doncaster Rovers

One of the friendliest grounds I've been to.

An excellent idea that I haven't seen anywhere else, and think should be available everywhere, is an "at seat" service for disabled fans to get their snacks and drinks. You get given a menu, and put your seat number and name on it, mark what you want (pens are provided if required, but I always carry one), then hand it in. A bit later, a lady came out with the order form and a card payment machine then, once you've paid, she disappears again. Just after kick-off, she reappears with your order!

The pies were actually hot as well! I don't think I've ever nearly burnt my mouth on a football pie before.

The stewards are lovely too - they even smiled, which doesn't always happen.

I know that Everton are moving to a new stadium next season, so Goodison will drop off the list, but I'm very glad I managed to get it ticked off.
