A wet and windy Away Day in December. The Away day itself was a good 1. What happened on the way home was what made it worse. Between Grantham and Peterborough, a overhead cable came down. Meaning that any EMU trains were unable to go through. Which ment alighting at Doncaster to a different train and then diverting past Lincoln. All this meant that I missed my connecting train home. Fortunately though I did manage to make it home, as LNER organised a Taxi for me and 1 other passenger heading back to Thetford. Home by 2am, which should've been 10pm. Nevermind we got the 3 points 👍
