James Hunt and Katie Melua both lived in Gander Green Lane at various times and that's as famousd as this place gets! We went to the Sutton Cricket Club just around the corner from the ground for pre-match refreshments which was fine with the usual Leeds United away following crowding in there - many in fancy dress! Sadly it was yet another FA Cup disaster for Leeds and out of the cup we went.
