It is, of course, fantastic to see a club by the name of Wimbledon back in the 92 in South London. This wasn't my first visit to Kingsmeadow, but it was my first to watch Southend against AFCW. A new stand, recently completed adds extra seating for both home and away fans, but OldMaShrimper and I stood in the low covered terrace along one side of the pitch. Atmosphere from the significant travelling contengent was good, as was the food on offer. A competitve first period gave way to a dominant second half performance from the visitors and ensured we went away happy - but it's still good to have the Dons back...
