Great to watch Wycombe play at the historic Deepdale ground, though at that time PNE were rather cheating by playing on a plastic pitch! We'd been on a losing streak, but were well up for the challenge. When Hakan Hayrettin unleashed a speculative blast from the halfway line which somehow went in, we ironically cheered, "shoot!" every time HH got the ball, even if it was in our own penalty area! I don't recall HH scoring after that day, but I suppose if you're only going to score one goal at a club, make it a memorable one!
