Much to my surprise, I found that tickets for the London derby between Spurs and QPR were on general sale about a week before the game. Since this was a Sunday game, it was an easy choice to go to a Spurs game and get league ground #45.

This was Mauricio Pocchetino's first game at WHL as Spurs manager since they had started away. Spurs dominated from early on and Nacer Chadli scored in the 12th minute. Eric Dier headed in 2-0 after half an hour before Chadli again was on target. In the second half Adebayor added a fourth. The two wins took Spurs to the top of the PL after two games, but with only two points from their next four games they were soon back mid-table.
