Third of five games on an August 2013 tour with my daughter and the first of three I have watched at The Hawthorns. I like The Hawthorns. It is relatively easy to get to and from by train. 

This may have been the high point of Saido Berahino's career. At the age of 20, he is making his full senior debut for WBA and after 38 minutes he has scored a hat trick. 3-0 was to be the final result of this Capital One Cup game. It is undoubtedly one of the more remarkable single performances I have watched. Markus Rosenberg came on as a substitute late in the first half for the injured Matej Vydra

Newport had brought with them a loud and lively crowd to The Hawthorns. The guys and gals in amber and black must have been close to a thousand. This was my league ground #36 and for my daughter it was a jubilee, her 10th.
