Was working pre-game so couldn't take in much pre-game atmosphere. Fairly sizeable queues to get in, or at least picked the largest and slowest moving queue it seemed! Met up with my mate in the concourse and noise was good in there. Once in the stand, the volume was a bit limited and some fans (from both sides) seemed more interested in watching each other than the game (was embarrassed by some of the chat). We started well enough, but a hefty late challenge on one of our centre backs left us another centre back down. West Ham ended up winning the game with 2 well taken goals, but the level of physicality did not go unnoticed although they avoided bookings until an hour in so maybe in some quarters it did. There definitely seemed a challenge of noise translating between upper and lower tier and felt pretty flat all round from a Norwich perspective.
