Tense game for the home side as they were fighting for their very lives in the FL whereas AFCW were comfortabl mid table. First half lead for AFCW with a mishit shot and then a nervy second half in which Tranmere really went for it. Looked as though they were doomed to defeat until final minute when new loan player Geoge Green just in from Everton scored a remarkable curling shot in the top corner having been named Man of the Match just a few minutes earlier. It was some special debut! Good atmoshere and easy ground to visit.
