Everyone knows there is only one team in Essex.  And Col U.  And then there's the Daggers.  In the twilight zone between England's most maligned county and its capital, Dagenham is close enough to Southend for the crowd to be almost 50% Shrimpers on a Tuesday night, but far enough to be on the tube for those of us coming across London.  The home team, sensing a large gate, generously handed over the only modern stand, and its modern facilities (and proper food).  The ungrateful visitors took everything, including three goals and a place in the next round of the Johnstones Paint Trophy...
