Southend eased through this cup game with an early goal at Underhill.  A fitting venue for an FA Cup visit as it still retains a non-league feel and the semi-professional feel to the day was compounded by a clash of sock colours which necessitated the Blues running out in borrowed stockings emblazoned with 'BFC'.
