Another Norwich win!! And not as much of a hostile atmosphere as anticipated. Easy journey into London Bridge and then 1 stop to South Bermondsey. The ‘tunnel’ from the station was more open than expected, and no checks took place, even though I was in all black, so don’t know what is stopping Millwall fans entering that section to cause trouble if they wanted to. Concourse was quiet upon arriving, a lot of people probably drinking outside of the area and getting later trains in. 3000+ Norwich fans. Stand is very steep which has its advantages but also gives the vertigo feeling a little bit. A gritty dogged win for the Canaries, but definitely take those returning us back to the top of the league. Norwich fans stayed around after chanting to the team regardless of whether we were officially held back by police or not. We did get held back in the fenced off area after, so that did cause a delay, so factor this in when booking journeys home etc. All in all, it was all fine and plenty of people openly wore their colours and were chanting afterwards, but realistically there isn’t too much rivalry between Millwall and Norwich so that prob made a big difference!
