It’s been a while since Macclesfield Town and Yeovil Town have played each other, an eventful 13 years for both concerned. From St James’ Park to St James’ Park doing the 92
Lifelong Newcastle fan and the92.net blogger Colin Harrison reports back on making the mammoth journey from the North East to the South West to complete his 92. The day had arrived for me to complete my tour of the 92 grounds. From my first ever match as a schoolboy, watching my beloved Newcastle United at St James Park to the other St James Park, Exeter. It wasn’t my 92nd league ground though but my 109th. One night in our local, we were discussing the journey to which my mate David said he would drive us all to Exeter in his… Read more »
History is made at the New Lawn
Blogger and the92.net co-founder Pete was in good company heading down to Gloucestershire. The New Lawn was the venue as Forest Green Rovers playing their first game in the Football League. Ground: The New Lawn (76/92) Game: Forest Green Rovers 2-2 Barnet Date: 05/08/2017 In what is fast becoming a family a ritual my Dad and I looked for a new ground we could tick off on the opening day of the season. The Posh supporter gives fans a taste of what to expect when visiting the home of the Brewers this season… With the Football League season almost upon us, Burton Albion took on local rivals Leicester City at the Pirelli Stadium. Blogger Josh Green continued his footballing adventure by travelling to the home of Stevenage FC for his 5th game of a packed pre-season. 92 before 30 – Stadium MK home of MK Dons
Blogger Katie recounts a trip to Stadium MK, the home of League One side MK Dons as she continues her journey to reach the 92 club before turning 30. Ground: Stadium MK (71/92) Game: MK Dons 0-3 Sheffield United Date: 22/04/2017 Thoughts about the ground Stadium MK is about 2 miles out of Milton Keynes centre so I hopped on a bus outside the train station to navigate the roundabouts for me. Everything at the train station is brilliantly signposted and there are 3 or 4 buses which take you right past the ground so you’re never waiting too long… Read more »

A thriller at Elland Road doing the 92
Blogger Ben Thompson continues to make tracks on his 92 as the season nears conclusion. The Gills fan was in Yorkshire this time and shares his thought on a thriller at Elland Road. Ground 76/92: Elland Road Leeds United 3-3 Norwich City 29/04/2017 Thoughts about the ground A really nice ground, I was hugely impressed. I didn’t have much time to go around the ground as I got to Leeds with only about 15 minutes to kick off, but what I did see outside was impressive. I was disappointed with my view as I had a pole in the way,… Read more »
