You may have noticed if you’d been there over the past few months or indeed seen a bare touchline on the Football League show that at Boundary Park the club were making some renovations to their North Stand. As the summer progresses the structure is really starting to take shape.
The building work signals the first in a number of development phases at what has been the Oldham’s home for well over a century. The North stand is the main stand at Boundary Park and the new model will hold two and half thousand fans in addition to a supporters bar, coffee shop, commercial and office facilities and a health and fitness suite. The club are aiming to have the turnstiles open for the start of the season with the rest of the amenities to follow.
You can keep up with the work on the clubs Official Twitter feed @OfficialOAFC and YouTube channel.
