1st May 2001 Oxford United 1-1 Port Vale. The final season at the Manor Ground was not a happy one for the U’s, with them finishing rock bottom of the old Division Two accumulating just 27 points. They looked to be on course to a final day win as Andy Scott opened the scoring on 82, but victory was snatched away in the last minute as Tony Naylor equalised for Vale.
